27th Annual WOW Returns to SW Minnesota!
The Twin Cities Bicycling Club’s 27th Annual Weekend on Wheels 2008 will take place August 1-2-3 in beautiful Winona, Minnesota. Last visited in 2002, the Island City offers dramatic bluff scenery and stunning Mississippi River views.
- Air conditioned lodging available at Winona State University: Single and double rooms with shared bathrooms and in-suite kitchens, plus daily breakfast
- Multiple ride distances each day of 30-100 miles Saturday, 30-65 miles Sunday
- Mapped rest and water stops
- Club insurance
- Saturday night luau on the shores of Lake Winona featuring food, refreshing beverages, and maybe even a little limbo!
Pre-Register by July 24 - Day-of Registration Available for Ride Only!
Daily ride fee of $5 pays for pre-ride snacks for your jersey pocket, energy drink and water stops, and club insurance. Routes are being designed by local area experts! Dinner price is all-inclusive - entrees, sides, desserts and refreshing beverages sure to delight after a day on the bicycle.
